The Revivalists on tour

New Orleans rockers The Revivalists will go on tour across America with their alternative, soft rock sound. The band who were noted by Rolling Stone magazine as one of '10 Bands You Need to Know' have had hits with 'Keep Going' and 'Wish I Knew You' which reached number one on the charts.

The band first started to gain attention in 2008 with the debut of their self-titled EP, released independently. The offering was highly praised and championed by a local radio station in their hometown of New Orleans. Their second release, 'Vital Signs' was noted as a lively album packed full of energetic melodies that breathe fresh life and energy into alternative rock.

Ever since, the outfit has built a reputation for high octane live shows filled with as much verve as their records, with lush pedal steel, scorching guitar solos, and frontman David Shaw's energetic and range-pushing vocal performances translating to a good old fashioned rock gig - expect to chant, sweat, dance and crowd surf!

The Revivalists

This band! In this venue! It was soo good. We've been listening to the Revivalists since 2015, and we're really excited to see them come to Vancouver. The Vogue was perfect! Not a bad seat in the place, and a great dance floor as well. We moved between our seats, and the floor easily, and enjoyed every moment of their high energy filled show. What a great group of musicians! The lead singer, Dave has an amazing range and interacted with the audience so much. I enjoyed watching Ed, the steel guitarist, who always had a smile on his face, and was always throwing his arm out to acknowledge his band mates. Zack, the lead guitarist and Rob, the sax player, were excellent, as were the two drummers, and keyboardist. They played all their hits, along with a Radiohead cover, and came back in the encore with Wish I Knew You, and Hey Kid, both favourites of ours. We all left that concert high on music, thanks to this great band. Don't miss them if they come around again! ... Read more

The Revivalists starting a Revival!!!

I have absolutely loved their music for several years. I had the joy of seeing them live for the very first time last year! They played at The Fillmore in New Orleans! (Such a GREAT venue). I was BEYOND blown away by the entire show. I found out the next day they were unable to perform at Jazz Fest. Dave had a bacterial infection in his throat. 🤯 I am sooo excited to see the again this Sunday at The Fillmore! If last year was him sick ; I can only imagine how PHENOMENAL this show will be with him healthy!!! They are a MUST SEE!! ... Read more
